Ranee Cly grew up in Monument Valley and welcomed the opportunity to move home and work with Utah Navajo Health System, Inc. as a dental receptionist at the Monument Valley Community Health Center.

Ranee graduated from Monument Valley High School in 1996 and then attended Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, for a year. After that, she and her husband hit the road. He works on construction sites as a welder and the family has traveled the west following the next construction job and raising their family along the way. According to Ranee, the family has lived in Salt Lake City, Washington State, Colorado, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. While in Las Vegas, Ranee attended Kaplan University and became certified in Medical Billing and Coding and worked in that field for a couple of years.

Ranee said her dream has always been to move back to Monument Valley and raise livestock. She is happy to be back home, although her husband still travels for work. Eventually, she hopes to start raising her livestock but for now she’s very happy with her new position with UNHS.

“I know a lot of the people I see when they come in. I still have a lot of family here and it’s good to be home,” she said.

Ranee has four children. Two are grown. One lives in Las Vegas and the other in Monument Valley. The two youngest are still in school, one in high school and one in elementary. When not working, she likes spending time with her family, playing sports, running, hiking and being outdoors.

We’re glad to have Ranee as part of the UNHS family. We know she’ll do a great job and be an asset to the dental team in Monument Valley. We wish her all the best in her new position.
