"A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption of our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider to our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so."

Ya'at'eeh, Welcome to Utah Navajo Health System, Inc.

We are a not-for-profit Community Health Center providing medical, dental and behavioral health care in neighborhoods throughout the northern portion of the Navajo Nation and southeastern Utah. We provide primary health care to men, women, and children, regardless of citizenship status, nationality or ability to pay.

We know that navigating the health care system can be confusing. That’s why we have professional patient support staff who can help you book an appointment, choose a doctor, get a referral or answer questions about insurance coverage.

UNHS is a full service health care facility that has been serving southeastern Utah communities since 2000. Our four health centers provide 70,000 provider visits each year to more than 13,000 unique patients; 8,800 of which are residents of San Juan County. Our health centers provide primary health care to those most in need.

We are affiliated with some of the best hospitals in the country with the University of Utah being our primary affiliation.

We exist to improve your quality of life through comprehensive, self-empowered, culturally-sensitive healthcare and amazing customer service.

UNHS will develop and expand health care services and community partnerships while improving economic opportunities for all communities.

UNHS is customer focused, responsive, respectful, honest and committed to excellence through teamwork in delivering healthcare.

UNHS serves all patients regardless of ability to pay.  Discounts for essential services are offered depending on family size and income. You may apply for a discount at the front desk.  Thank you.
